Fire Doors

Fire doors are specifically designed to reduce the spread of fire and toxic smoke within a building. A 'fire door' is made up of the door its frame and all the fittings like locks, handles, closers and hinges. All of these components are designed and guaranteed to resist the spread of fire for either a 30 or 60 minute duration.

Fire extinguisher maintenance

Portable appliance testing

Health and safety regulations require that any electrical appliances need to be safe to prevent potential harm to anyone using them.
Many types of equipment require testing at regular intervals to ensure continual safety. The interval between tests depends on both the type of appliance and the environment it is used in.

The health and safety at work act 1974 states a legal obligation for regular portable appliance testing in the following circumstances.>>

1. where appliances are used by employees
2. Where the public may use appliances in establishment such as hospitals, schools, hotels and shops.
3. Where electrical appliances are supplied or hired.
4. Where appliances are repaired or serviced.

At A.t.S Ltd, we offer a professional portable appliance testing service. We are able to test and certify any electrical equipment used within your place of work.

Tested portable equipment is labelled with a pass or fail sticker, this is accompanied by a log which gives the full report on the work carried out.
